Keeping faith, family, and friends for a later time.

These make me happy:

—–three small white churches in a tiny town close-by

—–gas logs and a remote

—–cotton growing in Georgia

—–antiques handed down for generations

—–socks

—–old Ford tractors  ( I learned to drive my Daddy’s when I was 10 ).

—–a table of bridge

—–young men in public places who leap from their chairs/tables to remove obstacles for Byron and his cane

—–breezes that provide the music for trees to dance

—–fresh sheets

—–BLUE BLOODS

—–Lenten roses and their message

—- obsolete silos

—–newly turned earth

—–character and integrity

—–much loved books on my shelves

—–rainy nights

—–the Citizen ” lifting ” my blogs and publishing them

—–Lavonia First United Methodist chimes at noon and dusk

—–and I add , happily , our first ( and only to date )  ” great “, Theo Toney.
