IF you’re in a political mode, thinking politics, government, parties, control, PLEASE don’t read further. This is not THAT ! And I am not overlooking the abuse of good intentions. I know it’s among us and it is most unfortunate. But these are people who are suffering. Real people. This is us……………………..
LOST :
…….literally, as in direction
…….figuratively, as in thought
…….poetically, as in meditation
……. irrationally, as in confusion
……. sadly, as in grief
……. honestly , as in indecision
The lost need our support. We’ve all been there.
LEAST :
…….. the children
……..the neglected
…….the impoverished
…….the sick
…….the sad
…….the abused
…….the vulnerable
The LEAST need our support. We’ve all been there.
LONELY :
……..the left behind
……..the elderly
…….the ugly
…….the grumpy
…….the poor
…….the special
…….the widowed
…….the homeless
…….the isolated
The LONELY need our support. We’ve all been there.
Kindness and gentleness are traits we all have to share with those less fortunate. Look around. If each of us reached out, in whatever ways we can, to one of the lost, the least, and the lonely, what a difference we can make. I challenge us all……….and me, first !

Lord, forgive and redirect me if I am wrong. Scripture reveals God’s heart and the favored spot there is reserved for the lost, the least and the lonely. So much of scripture warns the powerful: “to those with much, much is required.” Since I enjoy a number of power positions, I need constant reminding. Thank you, Diane and Rev Massengill!!

I find that politics is de-humanizing. Agendas are important, but not nearly as important as our fellow man. Thank you for your response.
